Memphis Recording Service CD'S (MRS).
Het platenlabel "Memphis Recording Service" werd in 2005 in het Verenigd Koninkrijk
opgericht door Joseph Pirzada, een fervent verzamelaar en Elvis-expert. Sindsdien heeft
MRS een groot aantal Elvis-gerelateerde media legaal uitgebracht. Hier kunt je de cd-
uitgaven bekijken. Sinds 2021 publiceert MRS ook materiaal uit de jaren 70. De juridische
status hiervan is ons onbekend.

Deze is verpakt in een stijlvolle HMV 45-hoes, een replica van de originele hoes uit 1956,
die vervolgens in de cd-hoes met afbeelding wordt geplaatst. De stickers zitten op de
krimpfolie, niet op de afbeelding zelf. Er zijn slechts 15.000 exemplaren van gemaakt, die
allemaal individueel genummerd zijn.

Omdat RCA ervoor koos om de daadwerkelijke openingsshow (31 juli 1969) niet op te nemen, is deze release de vroegste opname van "Elvis - Back on Stage" die fans ooit zullen horen. Sinds de eerste bootleg release in 1993 werd de datum bijgesteld naar 3 augustus. De exacte concertdatum is echter onbekend. Een meeslepende uitvoering van Elvis' eerste optreden in het International Hotel in Las Vegas op 3 augustus 1969. De opname is geremasterd en in stereo gepresenteerd. De digisleeve bevat een bonusboekje.
